Thompson Commends FEMA and DHS on Midwest Floods Effort

July 18, 2008 (WASHINGTON) – Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) sent a letter to Michael Chertoff, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and R. David Paulison, Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to acclaim DHS, specifically FEMA, for its performance during the most recent floods in the Midwest.
