Newsletter of the US National Assessment of
the Potential Consequences of Climate Variability and Change
The
National Assessment Synthesis Team (NAST) has been working on a
summary Overview Document and a longer Foundation Document consisting
of about 16 chapters for release later this year. These documents
went out for technical review in November and are currently in the
process of being revised based on the comments received.
The
NAST held a two day meeting in San Francisco December 15-16 to discuss
major issues in the review comments and strategies and timetables
for revising the documents based on these technical review comments.
In
early February, the documents will be available for a public review
period, which will span 60 days. Anyone interested in participating
is invited to send their name to the NACO office for further information.
