Braley Announces Air Force Academy Appointment for Cedar Falls Native David Corpman invited to re-enroll at U.S. Air Force Academy this fall Washington, Apr 14 - Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) announced today that David Corpman of Cedar Falls, IA received an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. “I’m proud to announce that David Corpman received an appointment to finish his education at the U.S. Air Force Academy,” Braley said. “David demonstrated his exceptional character during his previous two years at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and David continues to demonstrate his commitment to helping others during his service in China. David’s appointment to the Air Force Academy means that a talented young Iowan will be returning to the Academy to finish his education.” David Corpman entered the Air Force Academy in 2005 and spent 2 years studying at the Academy. Corpman left the Academy in 2007 for a year-long service trip to China. The Air Force Academy requires students to apply for a separate appointment when taking time off from the Academy. This appointment allows Corpman to re-enroll at the Air Force Academy this fall. Students interested in applying to military service academies for enrollment in fall of 2009 should contact Congressman Braley’s Waterloo office at (319) 287-3233. |
