Braley Receives A+ Rating on 2008 Veterans Report Card PDF Print

Washington, DC – This week, Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) received an A+ Rating, the highest possible score, on the 2008 Veterans Report Card.  The non-partisan Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America released the report card, which scored members of Congress on their leadership and support for key veterans’ issues including the GI Bill for the 21st Century, VA funding and mental health care.

“We have an obligation to take care of the veterans who have defended our nation,” Braley said.  “My father was a World Ward II veteran, and I work hard to honor his service and sacrifice by ensuring that today’s veterans receive the care they deserve.  I’ve stood up for better health care and education benefits for our veterans, and I’ll continue working to ensure that our veterans are taken care of when they return home.”
