The Deployment section of the Web site provides information on Tribal Energy Program activities intended to facilitate greater use of renewable energy and energy-saving technologies and practices on tribal lands.

Projects on Tribal Lands provides in-depth descriptions of more than a hundred energy projects in Indian Country. Some of the projects are already complete; others you can read about as they unfold.

The Guide to Tribal Energy Development describes a step-by-step process for developing energy resources, and provides fossil energy, renewable energy, and energy efficiency information for tribal decision makers and staff.

Technical Assistance explains how to get practical, hands-on help with renewable energy and energy efficiency project development.

There are more than 560 federally recognized tribes that are eligible for support from the U.S. government. The Bureau of Indian Affairs maintains a list of these tribes.
