May 2007 Security Director's Meeting
Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, NM

We are pleased to announce that the Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS), in partnership with the National Nuclear Security Administration, Energy and Science, will host a joint meeting for all DOE Security Directors and members of the Nuclear Security Information Exchange the week of May 20. This meeting will be held concurrently with the Security Protection Officer Training Competition (SPOTC) being held at the National Training Center in Albuquerque. The joint meeting will consist of two half-day sessions commencing at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 22, and resuming at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, May 23, (to conclude at noon). The meetings will be conducted at Sandia National Laboratories. Hotel accommodations have been arranged at the Albuquerque Marriott at the per diem rate. To reserve a room, contact Marriott reservations directly. If reserving by telephone, ask for a reservation under the block of rooms "SSD/NSIE". On-line registration with the Albuquerque Marriott can also be accomplished by going to www.marriott.com/ABQNM and entering "SSDSSDA" into the group code entry. This is the same hotel where a block of rooms has been reserved for SPOTC.

Since this meeting is being held in conjunction with SPOTC, you are encouraged to register for SPOTC and to observe some of the events that are scheduled throughout the week. You are also encouraged to participate in the SPOTC Awards Ceremony and Dinner that will take place on Thursday evening (May 24) following the final team event.
