On March 24, 2008, Congressman Miller congratulated eight of the twelve candidates he nominated for U.S. Service Academies during the 1st Annual Academy Nominees Reception for the 13th District, held in the Congressman's Raleigh office. Family members, coaches and teachers accompanied the nominees.
