Washington, D.C. -- Today, Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) issued the following statement on the launch of the Congressional “Innovation Agenda”:
“The Innovation Agenda we launched today is necessary and timely. It grew out discussions between Members of Congress, business leaders, industry leaders, community leaders, education leaders, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs from around the country. It is ambitious and visionary: it lays out a plan of action for doing what needs to be done to keep America number one in the area of innovation. For too long, policy makers in Washington have confused corporate tax breaks as meaningful investment in our future. Today’s agenda sets forth a bold initiative for enhancing American competitiveness, spurring innovation, and preparing the workforce of the future.”
