• Shuttle Services - Please be aware that the shuttle service is for NIH/NCI and NIH/NCI contracted employees to travel to and from Bethesda for meetings, seminars, training, etc. This service cannot be used as substitute transportation on a regular basis.



• Child Care
  • NCI-Frederick has a child care facility - Play and Learning Station - The center serves children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years. For more information, please call 301-846-5200.



• Dining Facilities
  • NCI-Frederick Cafe is located in the Library/Conference Center, Building 549.
  • Rally Point is located in Building 1529, along Porter Street.



• Conference Center - The NCI-Frederick Conference Center, conveniently located in building 549 between the library and cafeteria. Each of the four conference rooms is equipped with the latest in state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.



• Outreach and Special Programs – Housing Resource List, Classes offered at NCI-Frederick, Elementary Outreach Program, Take Your Child to Work Day, and more.



• Closings of the Facility - At this website you will find the policy relating to the closure or early dismissal due to adverse weather at the Ft. Detrick facility.

• Emergency Preparedness Committee has been formed to develop plans to deal with an emergency at the NCI-Frederick. In the case of an emergency, the NCI-Frederick will issue closure information through e-mail, radio, and television stations, as well as the Ft. Detrick Telenews - 301-619-7611.
