Render Safe

NNSA's Render Safe operations involve the deployment of the Accident Response Group (ARG), the Joint Technical Operations Team (JTOT), and the implementation of Radiological Triage.  The support provided to federal, state, and local authorities by these assets involves operations to safely recover and secure a radiological device or a lost or stolen U.S. nuclear weapon.  Radiological Triage provides 24-hour support to analyze data and confirm the identities of the radioisotopes in question.
