REPRISAL COMPLAINT AGAINST FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION

Washington, D.C. / January 2, 2009 – On December 22, 2008, the Office of
Special Counsel (OSC) announced the settlement of a prohibited personnel
practice complaint that was reached on December 4, 2008, between an air
traffic controller at the Memphis Air Traffic Control Tower in Memphis,
Tennessee, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
The terms of the settlement were favorable to the complainant, who in turn,
agreed to withdraw his complaint from OSC.
Acting Special Counsel William E. Reukauf noted his appreciation to the FAA
Chief Counsel’s Office for their cooperation in resolving this matter.
