BAH rates for Scott have increased for 2009
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Effective Jan. 1, those collecting Basic Allowance for Housing, will see an increase on their leave and earnings statement. BAH rates for Scott increased across the board. The increases range from 1 percent up to 12 percent depending on the rank and dependency status. 

Primary care changes bring new name and service model
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Primary Care Clinic at Scott has been selected as a test site for the Family Health Initiative; a new staffing and health care delivery model for family medicine. With this new model comes a new name: Scott Family Health Clinic. The new model is designed to permit greater flexibility in scheduling patient appointments, while allowing our family medicine providers better continuity with their patients. Our goal is to create an enjoyable and productive environment that promotes and delivers world class healthcare to our community.

375th EOD Sergeants honored for service

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Two of Team Scott's finest were awarded the Air Force Combat Action Medal last week for their bravery under fire. Tech Sgts. Manuel Herrera and David Pinkham, 375th Civil Engineer Squadron explosive ordnance disposal craftsmen, were attacked while on convoy missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
