Meetings and Hearings

The Commission holds regular public meetings, typically beginning at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning. At those meetings, the Commissioners adopt new regulations, issue advisory opinions, approve audit reports concerning political committees, and take other actions to administer the campaign finance law.

In addition, the Commission meets regularly in executive session to discuss pending enforcement actions, litigation and other matters that, by law, must be kept confidential.

Periodically, the Commission also holds public hearings to receive testimony concerning proposed regulations or policies. Witnesses must submit written comments in advance and specifically request to appear at the hearing.
