"Blue Skies" was the evening's specialty drink
ASF's 2005 Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction Gala was the trendiest
place to be on the Space Coast April 29th, 2005. The setting was
perfect — a VIP reception at the Hall with lavish food,
specialty "blue" drinks, and astronauts galore, followed by a
remarkable dinner at the Apollo Saturn V Center. The Gala preceded
the Induction Ceremony on Saturday and raised a record $90,000
for the scholarship program, as it honored three very deserving
astronauts — Joe Allen, Gordon Fullerton, and Bruce McCandless.
