- Maintain 24/7 database of Federal contacts for emergencies
- Maintain an automated emergency communication system
- Offer emergency management training and education programs
- Ex: COOP tabletop, State Civil Defense Exercises
- Provide assistance and referral regarding emergency
preparedness
- Foster relationships with multiple levels of government
regarding emergency issues
- Develop emergency dismissal plan
- Respond to OPM inquiries regarding incidents that have
an impact on the wider federal community
- Distribute communications and policies from higher
authorities following an emergency
Human Capital Readiness
- Establish/network FEB Training Council
- Develop agency talent and bridge skill gaps
- Promote and share local agency best practices
- Ex: Excellence in Federal Government Awards Luncheon)
- Maintain and promote Alternative Dispute Resolution
(ADR) Program
- Provide information on recruitment and retention services
- Ex: Transitional services, job announcements, Base

- Sponsor forums on “new initiatives”
