NRC ADVISORY SUBCOMMITTEE ON ADVANCED REACTORS TO HOLD WORKSHOP IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND, ON JUNE 4 -5


The Subcommittee on Advanced Reactors of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will conduct a workshop on June 4-5 in Rockville, Maryland, to discuss regulatory challenges for advanced nuclear power plants.

The workshop, which will be open to the public, will be held in the NRC Auditorium in the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 9 a.m. on June 4 and 8:30 a.m. on June 5. It will include presentations by NRC staff members, as well as Department of Energy and industry officials, panel discussions and participation by other attendees. The complete agenda is attached.
