NRC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON NUCLEAR WASTE WORKING GROUP, TO MEET IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND, ON FEBRUARY 21 - 22

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Nuclear Waste (ACNW) has scheduled a meeting of its working group on February 21 -22 in Rockville, Maryland.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B1 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on both days.

The ACNW working group will review issues concerning waste package and rock chemistry in documents designed to support the Department of Energy's Yucca Mountain Site Recommendation Report and the pre-licensing issue resolution process.
