JOINT SUBCOMMITTEE TO MEET JANUARY 19 IN ROCKVILLE,
MARYLAND

The Joint Subcommittee of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) and Advisory Committee on Nuclear Waste (ACNW) has scheduled a meeting on January 19 in Rockville, Maryland.

The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The joint subcommittee will discuss risk assessment methods associated with integrated safety analysis as well as risk-informed activities in the NRC's Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards. It also will address risk analysis methods and applications with regard to the Department of Energy's integrated safety management program.
