AT HATCH NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials in Atlanta have announced the assignment of Joel Munday as the new Senior Resident Inspector at the Hatch nuclear power plant near Baxley, Georgia.
Before being assigned to Hatch, Munday worked as a resident inspector for two years at Florida Power & Light's St. Lucie nuclear power plant in Jensen Beach, Florida, and four years at the Tennessee Valley Authority's Browns Ferry nuclear plant near Athens, Alabama. He joined the NRC in July 1991 as a project engineer in the NRC's region office in Atlanta. Munday received a B.S. degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Munday joins NRC Resident Inspectors Tom Fredette and Jim Canady, and Site Secretary Edna Dyal at the Hatch plant. The NRC inspectors at Hatch can be reached at 912-367-9881.
