NRC, SUPPLY SYSTEM OFFICIALS TO DISCUSS

Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet next week with officials of the Washington Public Power Supply System to discuss efforts towards improved performance at the Washington Nuclear Project-2 (WNP-2) outside Richland, Wash.

The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Supply System headquarters, 3000 George Washington Way in Richland. It will be open to the public for observation; NRC officials will be available after the meeting for questions.

The session is one in a series between Supply System officials and a special NRC

oversight panel created by NRC to monitor and assess the Supply System's efforts to improve performance at WNP-2.
