COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS |

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s
Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) will hold a meeting on May 8
and 9 in Rockville, Md. The committee will discuss, among other items, reactor
vessel head penetration cracking and degradation, as well as the effectiveness
of the NRC’s operating experience program.
The meeting, portions of which are open to the public, will be held in Room
T-2B3 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville
Pike. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day. A complete agenda is available
