TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON APRIL 2 IN ROCKVILLE, MARYLAND,
TO DISCUSS PROBABILISTIC RISK ASSESSMENT HANDBOOK

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a public meeting on April 2 in Rockville, Maryland, to seek comments on the agency’s “Handbook of Parameter Estimation for Probabilistic Risk Assessment,” which is designed to provide guidance on sources of information and methods of estimating distribution parameters used in probabilistic risk assessment.

The meeting, which runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., will be held in the agency's Two White Flint North building, Room 10 A1, at 11545 Rockville Pike.

Persons wishing to attend the meeting are asked to contact Mr. Salomon in advance and should arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to clear security and receive an NRC escort to the meeting room.
