Document Delivery/ILL -- Clinical emergency (Urgent Patient Care)

Question: How do I send a request to NLM in case of a clinical emergency/urgent patient care?
Answer:

Requests for articles needed in case of a clinical emergency/urgent patient care may be sent to the National Library of Medicine (NLM) for expedited handling. The LIBID for requesting clinical emergency requests is MDULMF. Non-DOCLINE libraries must fax their clinical emergency requests to 301-496-2809. Clinical emergency requests are filled by NLM within two hours after receipt. The delivery methods for clinical emergency requests are fax, e-mail, web, and Ariel.
