Individual Grant Results
The spreadsheets below contain Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) data for Elementary and Secondary School Counseling (ESSC) grantees from the FY 2005, 2006 and 2007 cohorts. GPRA data were provided by grantees as part of their annual performance reports.
The two GPRA measures for this program track grantee progress in: (1) closing the gap between the students to mental health professionals ratios recommended in the ESSC program statute and the post-grant ratios of students to mental health professionals and (2) reducing disciplinary referrals.
For the FY 2007 cohort, data for the first GPRA measure that tracks progress in closing the gap between recommended ratios of students to mental health professionals is supplied for three separate groups of mental health professionals – school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists. (These three groups of qualified mental health professionals are identified in the ESSC program statute with specific student to professional ratios.) A few grantees also hired other qualified psychologists, and that information is summarized in the "Notes" section of the spreadsheet for Measure #1 for the FY 2007 cohort.
