NIDA/CPDD Grant Writing Workshop

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) are sponsoring a grant writing workshop that will be held during this year's Annual CPDD meeting in Bal Harbour, Florida (June 14-19, 2003). The workshop is designed to orient new research investigators to NIDA and the grant process. To be eligible, you must hold a doctorate degree and have received your degree after 1997. The agenda for this year's workshop is:

  • Introduction to NIDA and Discussion of NIDA Funding Mechanisms
  • Discussion of the Peer Review Process and How to Successfully Navigate the System
  • Valuable Tips from a Reviewer and Successful Grantee
  • Question and Answer Session

This workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 17th from 1:00 - 5:30 PM in the Cypress Tree Room at the Sheraton Bal Harbour. Please arrive promptly at 1:00 PM for registration. This workshop is limited to the first 50 approved respondents who fax this application by the posted deadline date. Please note that only those individuals who have pre-registered and accepted will be allowed to attend this workshop. Unfortunately, exceptions will not be made at the door.
