Outreach Opportunities

Join other health centers, medical professionals, employers, businesses, and citizens across the country in taking steps to promote comprehensive dilated eye exams at least once every one to two years for people at higher risk for glaucoma. In doing so, you are assisting in the effort to reduce visual impairment due to glaucoma. Visit the secure NEI publications catalog to find glaucoma education materials to use as part of your eye health education program.

  • Health Observances
Health observances are days, weeks, or months devoted to promoting particular health concerns. They are a great time to schedule special events and give you the opportunity to reach new people.

  • Community Activities
Use these ideas to develop eye health education activities in your community.
