Low Vision

 

This program is designed to create awareness among children and adults, their families and friends, and the general public about available low vision rehabilitation services. This program seeks to inform eye healthcare providers who work with children and adults with vision impairments of the potential benefits of low vision rehabilitation services.

Key Target Audiences:  Children, adults, their families and friends, and the general public.

Key Program Message

  • To promote independence through vision rehabilitation.
 

Specific goals and objectives of NEHEP as they relate to low vision and information about people at higher risk can be found in the NEHEP Five-Year Agenda.


Resources and Materials

Patients and the Public

Share and distribute valuable resources among your patients and people at higher risk for developing low vision.

Health Professionals

Reach and educate your patients and people at higher risk for low vision with the use of these resources in your office or other educational setting.

Audio Visuals and Graphics

These resources can be used for educational purposes in a variety of outlets. Our resources are not copyrighted and may be reproduced without permission.
