It is a bar graph, where the horizontal axis represents marital status and the vertical axis represents percent with serious mental illness. There are four categories of marital status: married, widowed, divorced or separated, and never married. For each category of marital status, the percentage with serious mental illness is as follows:
Of those who are married, 7.1% have serious mental illness (SMI).
Of those who are widowed, 9.8% have SMI.
Of those who are divorced or separated, 16.0% have SMI.
Of those who have never married, 11.9% have SMI.
