Query e-mail server discontinued

The Query server, which provided e-mail access to a subset of Entrez databases, was discontinued on April 15, 2002. Entrez searchers should now use Web Entrez, available at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Entrez/, which provides access to more databases and features than were possible through the e-mail interface. Web Entrez integrates the scientific literature, DNA and protein sequence databases, 3-D protein structure and protein domain data, population study data sets, expression data, assemblies of complete genomes, and taxonomic information into a tightly interlinked system. BLAST server e-mail submissions discontinued

On June 17, 2002, NCBI discontinued BLAST e-mail submissions, including the e-mail retrieval of BLAST results from the BLAST Web pages. BLAST is accessible on the Web at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/BLAST/. Please refer to the BLAST "Frequently Asked Questions" and the "Program Selection Guide" in the sidebar of the main BLAST Web page for additional information.
