The Office of Personnel Management is responsible for
administration and oversight of the Federal Employees' Group Life
Insurance Program. These pages contain the Benefits Administration
Letters (BALs) that provide guidance to agencies on the FEGLI
Program. Click here for a complete list of BALs

How to subscribe to the Benefits Administration Information List
You can subscribe to this list to receive Adobe Acrobat PDF copies of BALs when they are issued in either of two ways:
- Send an email message requesting a subscription to the list. Address your email to listserv@listserv.opm.gov.
In the BODY of the message type:
SUBSCRIBE BENEFITSINFO firstname lastname., substituting your own first and last names.
- From the web (listserv.opm.gov/archives/index.html), select the
BENEFITSINFO list. From the BenefitsInfo Page, select join or leave the list (or change settings). You will then get a form to enter your email address and your full name (the same info needed in the email method).
That's all it takes. You'll automatically be added to the list and begin receiving BALs.
