The majority (57 percent) of participants involved in a creative writing program reported that, in addition to writing more, they had increased the amount of time they spent writing. In another group, approximately 50 percent indicated increased skill in written expression. Music: One third of children with autism who participated in a 10-week music program showed improvement in social, verbal and/or listening skills. No current data are available. |
