"PRESCRIPTION MEDICINES AND YOU:
A CONSUMER GUIDE"

The National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) and the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research (AHCPR) have developed a guide for health care professionals to help their patients use their prescription medicines safely and effectively. It is a hands-on resource for health care providers to give to patients who need guidance to improve their adherence to their medicine regimens and thereby improve their health outcomes.
