The A-T Children's Project is a non-profit organization that raises funds to support and coordinate first-rate biomedical research projects, scientific conferences and a
clinical center aimed at finding a cure or life-improving therapies for ataxia-telangiectasia, a lethal genetic disease that attacks children, causing progressive
loss of muscle control, immune system problems, and a strikingly high rate of cancer, especially leukemia and lymphoma.

The A-T Children's Project is a registered charity in both the United States and Canada.

FEAT... coming to a city near you

During the A-T CureTour, ultra-runner Tim Borland ran 63 marathons in 63 consecutive days to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia  (A-T). Two filmmakers followed him every step of the way, documenting his journey and that of families coping with this disease.

A-T Artist Book
A compilation of artwork and biographies of children and young adults afflicted with A-T. In September 2007 the McCord Gallery organized an art workshop in conjunction with an A-T research conference. The goal was to create several pieces of artwork to visually describe each individual.

Attention Researchers:

A new interactive database of information about the complex network of pathways surrounding the ATM protein is now freely available to A-T researchers around the world. Funded by the A-T Children’s Project, the SPIKE (Signaling Pathway Integrated Knowledge Engine) software includes analytical and graphic tools that will enable researchers – both new to A-T and established – to access up-to-the-minute, comprehensive information about the biological signaling pathways related to the ATM protein. For more information, please click here.

Mouse Specifics, Inc. is performing automated gait analysis on A-T mice. To learn more and view current data click here.

The A-T Children's Project has new submission deadlines for grant proposals. Click here to learn more.
