It's one thing to blog and comment about the trickling in of fall TV announcements, but we like to see how the schedule is shaping up. What is still in its comfortable, familiar time slot? What has moved? What is now scheduled against what, competing for our DVR's precious love?
Here is a grid showing the network line-ups officially revealed to date.
Winter & Midseason Plans

Rules of Engagement and premieres the murder mystery
Harper's Island.

The CW brings
Reaper back for Season 2.

DirecTV will premiere
Friday Night Lights' third season starting Oct. 1.

Fox in January brings back
24 (Mondays at 9),
American Idol and
Hell's Kitchen, and premieres Joss Whedon's
Dollhouse (Mondays at 8),
Secret Millionaire and
The Cleveland Show (a spin-off of
Family Guy).

NBC will bring back
Law & Order (Wednesdays at 10 pm/ET),
Friday Night Lights (Fridays at 9) and
Medium (Sundays at 9), as well as premiere
Merlin (Sunday, 8) and
Kings (Sunday, 10).
