Funding Status

On an annual basis, the Secretary may reserve up to $3 million for MEP Consortium Incentive Grants. Individual grants are generally between $86,000 to $240,000, and by statute they cannot exceed $250,000.


2006

Total Funds Available in FY 2006: $3,000,000

A grant competition was conducted in FY 2006 to award new formula grants. Continuation awards will be made in FY 2007.


2005

Total Funds Available in FY 2005: $2,500,000 (Continuation awards only.)


2004

Total Funds Available in FY 2004: $2,500,00

The MEP Consortium Incentive Grants were awarded as formula grants in FY 2004 and as continuation awards in FY 2005.
