Title screen from webcastWe are in the midst of the first big exit wave of prisoners who poured into our correctional system over the last decade in unprecedented numbers. An estimated 600,000 people will exit prison this year. This means 1,600 prisoners are released per day in this country. Ex-prisoners share the problems of all people with limited resources looking for housing, and then some.

Join Fortune Academy executive director, Joanne Page, Corporation for Supportive Housing Program Officer, Richard Cho, HUD's Office of HIV/AIDS Housing director David Vos, supportive housing tenants, and AIDS Housing of Washington's Director of Technical Assistance Donald Chamberlain, for a special two-hour webcast on Thursday, August 20th at 2 PM EDT on "Housing and Services for Ex-Prisoners." The webcast will launch an on-going affinity discussion group on the Internet of providers targeting housing and services to ex-prisoners.
