These are some terms that are specifically related to HUD's Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs or functions.

Grantee
means the State or other entity named in the notice of grant award as the recipient.

Group Home
Housing occupied by two or more single persons or families consisting of common space and/or facilities for group use by the occupants of the unit and (except in the case of shared one-bedroom units) separate private space for each family.

Guaranteed loan funds
means the proceeds payable to the borrower from the issuance of debt obligations under this subpart.
