Opportunities for the Retarded, Inc

Since 1995, the Residential Companion Support, funded in part by CHSP, enables 20 residents with developmental disabilities to enjoy a quality of life at Opportunities for the Retarded, Inc. (ORI).

CHSP provides assistance and support to residents with their daily living needs. This funding supplement from CHSP helps the agency to also provide wholesome, nutritious meals, which meets the dietary requirement prescribed by the resident's physician. The program helps residents, who are growing older rapidly due to their disabilities, to maintain good health and their community home placement, while also minimizing the impact of aging.
