Statement by Mike Leavitt
Secretary of Health and Human Services
On Senate Confirmation of Terry L. Cline, Ph.D.

I applaud the Senate�s confirmation of Dr. Cline as Administrator of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. His experiences working for the state of Oklahoma and working with youth will be valuable in carrying out the agency�s important public health mission. I look forward to working closely with him as we strive to strengthen prevention and improve treatment programs focused on substance abuse and mental health services.
