Barbeque Showdown in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains on Memorial Day Weekend. This contest is operated under sanction of the Kansas City Barbeque Society. (KCBS)
KCBS, as we call it, is the largest international organization of barbeque and grilling enthusiasts and all meat judges are trained in the rules of judging KCBS sanctioned competitions. Our contestants come from across the state of Georgia and beyond to compete for over $8500 in prize money, plus trophies, ribbons and prizes.
