Interplanetary Cruise:    about 200 days from Earth to Mars
Mars Orbit Insertion (MOI):    October 24, 2001, 0230 Universal Time (October 23, 7:30pm PDT/ 10:30pm EDT)
Aerobraking:    Completed January 2002
Mapping and Relay:    917 Earth Days -- February 2002 - August 2004
Extended Mission:    Began August 24, 2004
