UNKNOWN BANK ROBBER |
||||||||||||||||||||||
CAUTIONAn unknown male suspect is being sought for his alleged involvement in several bank robberies committed since October 2007, in Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. The suspect specifically targeted Navy Federal Credit Unions. The suspect usually entered the banks, stood in line and approached the next available tellers. It is alleged that the suspect verbally demanded money and pulled out a plastic bag. He allegedly told the tellers to hand him no dye packs and make no noise so that no one gets hurt. Once the suspect allegedly received the money, he placed it in the plastic bag and left the banks. The suspect may have fled in a getaway vehicle possibly driven by an accomplice. In a more recent robbery, the suspect allegedly utilized a semi-automatic pistol and forced bank employees into the vault area. There, it is alleged that employees were forced to open the bank's cash vault and the suspect took money and left the bank. REMARKS The unknown male suspect is described as being unshaven with slight facial hair growth. He has partly crooked teeth. He wears large-framed sunglasses and sometimes wears latex gloves or bandages on his fingertips.
