Namibia Joins GLOBE!
On October 8, 1997, the Minister of Basic Education and Culture, Mr. John Mutorwa, and United States Ambassador George Ward signed the GLOBE Agreement, making Namibia a partner in the GLOBE Program. Namibia plans to begin GLOBE with seven schools.At the signing ceremony attended by school principals, business leaders and the media, a local Internet provider donated modems for the seven GLOBE schools.
We look forward to the participation of Namibian students and teachers in the GLOBE Program!
