Ghana Joins GLOBE

GLOBE is pleased to announce that the Republic of Ghana signed the GLOBE agreement on Friday, March 20, 1998. Ghana is the 66th country to join GLOBE.

The signing ceremony took place at the U.S. Embassy in Accra, the capital city. U.S. Ambassador Edward Brynn signed the GLOBE agreement with Ghanaian Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas.

The signing took place in conjunction with U.S. President Bill Clinton's visit to Africa.
