Irish President Mary Robinson Visits GLOBE School
February 8, 1996. The GLOBE Program welcomes Irish
President Mary Robinson, Minister for Education
Ms. Niamh Bhreathnach, TD, and Minister for Defense
and the Marine Mr. Sean Barrett, TD, to Cabinteely
Community School in Dublin to celebrate the school's
21st birthday. Students in the classrooms of
Mr. Eamonn Kiely and Mr. Liam Carter will be
demonstrating how to make GLOBE measurements and
report their data via the Internet. Congratulations to
Principal Mr. Liam Ryder, GLOBE Country Coordinator
Michael Cotter, and to all of the teachers and students
of Cabinteely Community School on this occasion.
