GLOBE Welcomes German Students!
Friday, December 8, 1995. The GLOBE Program is pleased
to announce that Germany is joining GLOBE today.
Germany is the 30th country to enable their students
to make GLOBE measurements and share their observations
with GLOBE students and scientists around the world.
Professor Dr. Walter Kroell, Chairman of the Board
of DLR, will sign the GLOBE agreement with
U.S. Ambassador Charles Redman at a ceremony in Bonn.
The Germans will begin their GLOBE activities with
a workshop for teachers December 8 and 9 in Stuttgart.
