GLOBE Welcomes Greek Students!
The GLOBE Program is pleased to announce that Greece
joined GLOBE this week. Greece is the 32nd country to
enable their students to make GLOBE measurements and
share their observations with GLOBE students and
scientists around the world.
On December 12, Greek Minister of Education George
Papandreou, and Deputy Minister of Environment, City
Planning, and Public Works Elisavet Papazoi joined U.S.
Ambassador to Greece Thomas Niles in a special ceremony
to celebrate the occasion in Athens.
