GLOBE Enhances Web Visualization Features
The GLOBE World Wide Web Site has been updated to include a number of new
visualization features. You can now move around the world and zoom in on
an area by just pointing to a location on the "clickable image" maps.
Student data contour maps are now available for a variety of regions and
in a variety of sizes. Movie animations are available of student and
reference data. Finally, you can select a "text-only" option that enables
fast navigation across web pages by clicking on words rather than icons,
and then selecting the image you want to view.To try out these new features, go to the GLOBE Student Visualization Server by selecting the icon with the "globe" at the bottom of this page or on the Student Data Server home page.
Congratulations to the GLOBE Team at NASA-Goddard on these great additions!
