Policy and scandal aren’t the only things that define a presidential term—the redecoration of the White House also becomes part of the first family's legacy. From the Oval Office to the Lincoln Bedroom, the commander in chief and first lady traditionally make historical renovations and updates to leave their mark on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As the Obamas prepare to settle in for the next four years, we admire the evolution of White House decor and look forward to new changes ahead.
