Visits/Teacher Training
The NIE Outreach Specialist is available to come to your school to run an activity
using the newspaper or conduct training with your staff.

Lesson Plans
NIE provides a variety of daily lesson plans to use with the electronic newspaper.

Rich Wilson, currently sailing in the Pacific Ocean in the Vendee Globe sailing race. Three weeks of the Sites Alive journey were not published in the newspaper, due to vacations. Find them here:
Shining the Light on Your Government: A special section presented by Newspapers In Education and the Washington Coalition for Open Government. Developed for use in high school classrooms to help meet the Essential Academic Learning Requirements (EALRs) for civics education in Washington state.
